This week we began sending out Welcome Packets to our new families for next year.
As I added the personal touches that will hopefully provide some relief and reassurance for the students, it made me appreciate our Founding Families from last year once again.
Change is hard. For adults too and especially when the change includes your child, their education, and their future. Even more so when elements are unknown.
We absolutely knew this would be true for our Founding Families who bravely took the jump to not only break away from their traditional schools, but broke away from most everything that they were taught to believe about how education “should” be done. So we decided to document their kids’ transformations.
Comparing growth is personal, but comparing all of our students answers from the 1st vs. the last day of school…it’s pretty clear. There’s no turning back.
