Our week in review…in reverse.
To end this outstanding, ordinary week at Indi-ED we went to read out side and it was amazing because we saw a DOLPHIN! We watched them eat, flip fish, and chased them too which was so cool!
We named one of the dolphins Chip because he had a chip out of his fin. We also got to feed squirrels and Rapunzel, which is one of the squirrel’s we named, touched my hand with her paw. It was a dream of mine! come true
It was so fun! We went to learn and got to have a fun experience as well.
Indi-ED is a positive group of kids and teachers.

In yoga this week we focused on being more aware of ourselves. One things we always do is positives and deltas. (Which just means we think about what went well and what we can improve on.)
We do this all of the time and this week after we did it about our student led conference. We did a lot well. We prepared, rehearsed, and were organized. But what we noticed was that when we were preparing, everybody was losing their pledge statements sheet so we problem solved and made a bigger chart so we could put posits on the chart to remind us of what we did that connects to the pledge every day and we’ll be even more prepared.
It’s important that we are self-aware and check in with the positive and deltas because if we focus on the good things, we will keep doing it and create a positive impact.

Hello this Alex is speaking! Today I want to tell you about our student led conference and family meal combined!
This time we decided to do it differently so we could get everyone together at the same time and then have our conference with our parents after we ate. The food was generously provided by the Hannan family so thank you for the food! We also played games with everyone.
During the student led conference we shared what we have learned since the last student led conference and what we did which included what we wanted to improve on. To prepare we worked really hard to create our script and to set up our journals. We flagged the pages we wanted to talk about and sorted them into the order that we wanted to talk about them. For example we sorted the in to categories of improved on, enjoyed, difficult, etc.
They all went well and all of our parents were proud! It’s important to lead our own conference because we can share our personal strengths and weaknesses and because it helps us become stronger human beings!
