Imagine Life Kind

We have committed from the beginning to focus on supporting our students’ academic progress but just as equally, their character.

So much so that even from the beginning, from the design of our logo, you’ll find it present.

Our logo isn’t just a cute stick person. It actually represents a few of our pillars.

Imagine Life Kind

If you begin from the base, you’ll see that the feet are where it all starts.

They represent the solid foundation that we want to build in our kids. As adults who have experienced life, we know that if they are developed and built, then even in the trying times, they will have the skills necessary to positively progress. If you learn how to consistently act with kindness and integrity, or learn how to become resilient and optimistic, or learn how to apply effort and solve problems while remaining grateful, then the rest follows more easily.

If you look up to the center part of our logo, you’ll see that the heart and the words that surround it represent not only what’s at the heart of how we do things differently, but also the second step of what we try to instill in our students. The heart is a reminder that they need to learn how to love themselves, others, and to develop a self-awareness that will allow them to follow their passions and their unique paths in life.

Then finally, the top part of our logo represents what happens when kids who are grounded in solid character and who are supported to follow their hearts and be their best selves grow up…they bloom beautifully.

With so much of what is happening in our world today, we felt it important to remember the importance of teaching our kids to not only be good students but good humans.

Here’s a speech that one of our youngest last year decided was his biggest “lesson learned”. He decided on the topic, wrote and delivered it himself. Look past the video quality and seek to understand how this young man is internalizing these ideas and how he will affect our world’s future. Indi-ED students certainly make us proud.

His title, “Imagine Life Kind”.
